From steel to titanium, gold to silver, there are many materials to choose from for the bracelet watch. A variety of metals and rubbers have been adorning the wrists of timepiece enthusiasts for almost three centuries. From porcelain shades to the darkest skins, there's a wide range to choose from. But how do you choose bracelet according to your skin tone? How do you illuminate your complexion? Daniel Gérard explains .
Fair complexions
Do you have milky skin and an almost porcelain complexion? Black titanium, steel and silver are for you. Light skin tones, dark colors. Don't hesitate to opt for bracelet in dark titanium. Contrasting elegance to highlight your skin, magnified by steel and titanium that will bring out the best in your white skin.
Medium to intermediate skin tones
If nature has blessed you with a medium complexion, you're in luck. As a true in-between, you can pretty much afford anything. From silver to gold, anything is possible; virtually any material will highlight your skin. A word of caution: if you're a medium with a matt tendency, opt more for gold; if you're more inclined towards light, silver and dark tones will be your friends.
Tanned skin tones with darker complexions
Do you have a sun-kissed complexion, or matt or dark skin? Gold tones, icons of the sun, are your most faithful allies. While yellow, white or rose gold is ideal, a steely bracelet can be just as appealing. Professional, casual, bohemian chic... many styles are possible. The most important thing is to bring out the matte of your complexion; it's up to you to adapt!
