FRENCH MANUFACTURE CALIBRE
Caliber entirely designed and developed by Olivier Mory. Micro-components (bridges and plates) manufactured directly in our workshops YEMA to Morteau including assemblies, adjustments and controls.
ACCURACY OF -3/+7 SECONDS
Optimized mechanical precision with performance close to that of a stopwatch (COSC).
TOURBILLON COMPLICATION TIDE GAUGE
A prestigious caliber offering high performance thanks to its clever architecture and high-quality Franco-Swiss components. Unprecedented lunar time complication with tidal cycle display.
POWER RESERVE 105 HOURS
Increased power reserve thanks to a large barrel for optimised winding.
DOUBLE-DOMED SAPPHIRE BEZEL & CRYSTAL
The rotating bezel stands out both for its complex design and for its quality of workmanship. It consists of an insert with a minimalist 0-60 scale and a luminescent marker at 12 o'clock. Both of these elements are covered and protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire dome requiring a complex and meticulous machining and manufacturing process. The lower part of the bezel is precisely notched and makes it easy to use its unidirectional rotation system.
This timepiece from collection is also equipped with a high-quality 2.20mm high double dome sapphire crystal, offering better readability, increased strength and a decidedly vintage look.
ICONIC YACHTINGRAF DIAL
The dial features a beautiful black sunburst finish and borrows the aesthetic codes that have made the success of the vintage Yachtingraf models. The red and blue colours of the Mareograph complication as well as the famous applied steel "baton" indexes coated with Super-LumiNova immediately echo the Yachtingrafs of the 1970s. The open heart of the dial at 6 o'clock gives a glimpse of the animation of the Tourbillon mechanism. The Y in the Logo YEMA is directly embedded in the small hand of the Mareograph counter in order to leave the entire dial very uncluttered.
STEEL / BRONZE CASE – SAPPHIRE CASE BACK
The back of the case features a sapphire crystal that allows the caliber to be admired in all its splendour and maintains a water resistance of 10 BAR. The case, available in steel or bronze, has been finished in different colours with a vertical brush, polished bevelled lugs and a circular brushed bezel, combining both sportiness and elegance. With a diameter of 42.5mm and a thickness of 12.3mm (14.5mm with the double-domed sapphire crystal), the Yachtingraf Tourbillon Mareograph offers balanced proportions for a timepiece equipped with a complicated tourbillon calibre. The 20mm lug width allows for a wide choice of straps. Each case is engraved with a unique serial number (XXX-XXX) as well as the number corresponding to the Limited Edition (XX/75).
BRACELET RUBBER FKM VITON®
The bracelet RUBBER FKM VITON® has been designed for intensive use in all extreme conditions thanks to its light, flexible and highly resistant VITON® material as well as against dust. The bracelet is also equipped with an elegant folding clasp in either 316L stainless steel or IP bronze.
CALIBRE TOURBILLON
Invented by the famous French watchmaker Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1795, the tourbillon is a device found in some high-end mechanical watches, intended to improve the precision of the timepiece. It is a rotating carriage containing the balance wheel and its balance spring, the escape wheel, the lever and the seconds wheel that drives it. The cage rotates 360 degrees every 60 seconds, counteracting the detrimental effects of gravity on the watch's smooth operation. The tourbillon embodies watchmaking know-how, and only a few Manufactures have mastered the creation of this masterpiece.
TIDE GIDAL COMPLICATION
The Mareograph complication is placed in an elegant sub-counter at noon on the dial. To make this magnificent phenomenon visible, it indicates high tide when the small hand is at the top and low tide when the small hand is at the bottom, making a half-turn of the dial (passage from high tide to low tide) every 6h 12m 7.89s and a full turn every 12h 25m 15.79s.
