MICRO-ROTOR CALIBER CMM.20
After more than 2 years of development and several thousand deliveries, our Manufacture micro-rotor calibre is now in continuous production in our workshops in Morteau. The in-house production and the increase in production allow us to offer a high-performance and unique calibre at an extremely competitive price. Caliber designed in Switzerland and developed by YEMA. Components (bridges and plates) manufactured directly in our workshops YEMA to Morteau including assemblies, adjustments and controls.
ACCURACY OF -3/+7 SECONDS
Optimized mechanical precision with performance close to that of a stopwatch (COSC).
ULTRA-THIN GAUGE
Thanks to its modern architecture, which allows for a contained thickness of only 3.70 mm, this new micro-caliber is fitted to much thinner cases.
70-HOUR POWER RESERVE
Increased power reserve thanks to an innovative high-density tungsten micro-rotor for optimized winding.
NEW SLIM STEEL CASE
This new 39mm 316L stainless steel case is distinguished by its 20mm curved lugs and brushed finishes as well as its slightly curved polished chamfers. Originally designed as a robust and reliable toolwatch for diving professionals, the use of the CMM.20 micro-rotor caliber makes it possible to refine the case by 1mm while preserving a water resistance of 300 meters thanks to the sapphire case back and a screw-down crown with double O- gasket.ring.
This new Superman Slim offers an elegant and refined design while preserving all the features and functionality of modern mechanical diver's watches.
NEW ENAMELLED LACQUER DIALS
The Superman Slim CMM.20 dials in a "glossy" finish proudly display all the inscriptions in French, including the words MANUFACTURE FRANÇAISE at 6 o'clock, in a nod to the new positioning of the YEMA following the in-house manufacture of CMM.20 calibre components and local production of casings.
The classic Superman hands in polished steel have been slightly refined while the iconic second hand "excavator" has been replaced by the original second hand of the mythical Superman 53.00.16. All needles are treated with Super-LumiNova Grade A.
The new enamelled lacquer dial offers a dazzling shine and sometimes gives the feeling of a milky texture. The deep colour of the dial accentuates the play of light and magnifies the reflections of the two convex sides of the double-domed sapphire crystal.
STRONGER DOUBLE-DOMED SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL
The Superman Slim features a 2.00 mm thick double-domed sapphire crystal that is resistant to shocks and scratches.
The dome shape gives it a very unique, resolutely vintage look, offering better legibility thanks to its two convex faces as well as increased resistance and waterproofing up to 300m.
SAPPHIRE & SUPER-LUMINOVA GRADE A DIVER'S BEZEL
The rotating bezel stands out both for its complex design and for its quality of workmanship. It is made entirely of sapphire and is in perfect harmony with the glossy lacquered dial and the vertical brushed finish of the case.
This newly manufactured bezel features a unidirectional rotation, a simplified 0-60 graduation and a luminescent marker at 12 o'clock in Super-LumiNova Grade A (as well as on the hands and indexes), essential elements for professional divers.
SAPHIRE 30 BAR CASEBACK
The caseback features a sapphire crystal that allows the Manufacture CMM.20 calibre to be admired in all its splendour and to preserve a water resistance of 30 BAR (300m).
Each case is engraved with a unique serial number corresponding to that of its 5-year warranty card.
ICONIC SUPERMAN BEZEL LOCK SINCE 1967
The bezel lock is a specific and historical piece related to the design of the Superman. It allows divers to be able to block the scope (after initially setting it) and thus prevent it from accidentally turning during a period of immersion, which could cause an error in the legibility of the dive time.
This system has been the subject of a patent filed by YEMA May 12, 1967 in France, and May 10, 1968 in the United States and has become over the years a unique identity trait of the Superman model.
