The Watch
The Superman diver's watch from Yema, designed for diving professionals, was once worn by French Air Force pilots. Renowned for its indestructibility, the model is now back on the watchmaking scene with the Superman Skin Diver edition. The YSUP21C39-AM2S watch will sublimate the thinnest wrists with its 39 mm diameter, 13 mm thick tonneau case. Made of brushed stainless steel, it promises the utmost comfort both on land and underwater. Surrounding the round dial, the uni-directional bezel is made of black sapphire crystal and white veneer. A bezel block is located at 3 o'clock to guarantee total safety when diving underwater. The notched crown engraved with the Maison's initial gives access to the dial's various time indicators. The dial is protected from the shocks and scratches of the outside world by a solid 2.60 mm double-dome sapphire crystal. It features three hands for hours, minutes and seconds, as well as baton hour-markers and Arabic numerals, all with SuperLuminova C3 luminescent treatment. A date window at 3 o'clock gives you a clearer idea of time. This timepiece is available in a limited edition of 1000 pieces. Authentic and unique, it will accompany you even into the depths of the sea, thanks to its screw-down caseback that guarantees 30 ATM water-resistance.
Le Cadran
Overhung by a protective sapphire crystal with a vintage look, the dial of this watch is dressed in an intense glossy black color. Superimposed in the center of its rounded shape, the two hour and minute hands are accompanied by the Lollipop second hand. Their creamy patina matches that of the baton hour markers. Time markers at 6, 9 and 12 o'clock are in Arabic numerals. The 3 o'clock marker is replaced by a rectangular aperture showing the current date. Thanks to their SuperLuminova C3 coating, the time indicators are visible in all circumstances, offering a high-quality analog display that's legible even in the dark. The Maison signs its creation below midday with its famous "Y", its name and that of collection Superman. Finally, in the lower part of the dial, the brand recalls the water-resistance, the nature of the movement and the French manufacturing origin, a guarantee of authenticity.
The Movement
At the heart of this timepiece is a Swiss automatic movement. With 26 jewels, its Sellita SW200-1 caliber beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of 38 hours. It drives the three hands for hours, minutes and seconds, as well as the date window, with reliability and precision.
Visit Bracelet
The accompanying bracelet is a reissue of the iconic bracelet YEMA Scales from the 1960s. Its design in brushed 316L silver-plated steel goes perfectly with all your everyday outfits. Its extension and folding clasp make it quick and easy to fit over your wetsuit. The watch also comes with a second black bracelet Tropic. Its waterproof rubber material and pin buckle make it the ideal accessory for your underwater adventures.
Waterproofing
With its water resistance of 300 meters, or 30 ATM in watchmaking parlance, Captain Nemo can only envy you this timepiece designed for marine environments. Bathing, showering, swimming or diving (apnea or with tanks) are tasks from which the watch will emerge unscathed and gleaming!
