Watch Yema Navygraf FSM Auto Black Dial Bracelet Rubber 38.5MM
50 YEARS OF THE STRATEGIC OCEAN FORCE (FOST)
The Submarine Forces (FSM) and the Strategic Oceanic Force (FOST) are composed of about 4000 sailors, military and civilian, who operate 4 nuclear ballistic missile submarines (SSBNs), 6 nuclear attack submarines (SSNs), units providing their command, strategic communications and support.
Lurking in the ocean, equipped with 16 missiles, each carrying several nuclear warheads, the 4 SSBNs have been patrolling continuously for 50 years to ensure the permanence of nuclear deterrence at sea. They are grouped together within the FOST. Created on March 1, 1972, FOST is the naval component of strategic nuclear forces. The nuclear deterrent remains, as a last resort, the cornerstone of our security and the guarantee of our vital interests.
Formidable submarine chasers, SSNs are essential to the safety and support of the FOST as well as to the protection of a naval air force at sea. They can quickly reach a theatre of operations, stay there for a long time, discreetly or, if necessary, more conspicuously, gather intelligence, participate in special operations and, if necessary, use their weapons: torpedoes, anti-ship missiles, naval cruise missiles.
SUBMARINE FORCES DIAL
The bronze hue is echoed by the wording Navygraf in the center of the dial, and the hands and hour-markers, set against a black dial like the hull of a submarine.
The FORCES SOUS-MARINES wording at 6 o'clock in the form of a "smiley face" and the "exclamation mark" hour-markers have been the signature of the Navygraf model since the early 1970s.
Finally, the fine red tip of the second hand adds a touch of color that is both elegant and functional.
DESIGNED FOR MARINE PROFESSIONALS
Beyond its striking aesthetics, the Navygraf FSM Bronze is first and foremost a watch designed for professionals of the sea.
For example, it is water-resistant to "P", in this case 300 meters, which usually designates the maximum immersion depth for submarines.
DOUBLE DOME SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL
The Navygraf FSM Bronze features a 3.00 mm thick double-domed sapphire crystal, offering improved legibility, enhanced resistance and a resolutely vintage look.
38.5MM BRONZE CASE
The bronze case, a material that develops a patina over time, echoes various mechanical elements emblematic of submarines, such as the flush blocks used to return to the surface, the rapid flush control for submarine safety, and the filling and emptying discs for the weapon-launching tubes.
The case is finished with vertical brushing, polished bevelled lugs and a circular brushed bezel. With a diameter of 38.5mm and a contained thickness of 11.3mm (14.1mm with the double-domed sapphire crystal), the Navygraf FSM Bronze offers ideal dimensions for lovers of neo-vintage watches.
SUPER-LUMINOVA
Index, hands and luminescent marker on graduated bezel treated with Super-LumiNova C1 for enhanced legibility.
IN-HOUSE CALIBER YEMA2000 "NO DATE"
The In-House Calibre YEMA2000 is powered by optimised components offering slightly higher performance than competing calibres, with a daily drift of +/- 10 s/d and a power reserve of 42 hours. A major innovation of the YEMA2000, the movement is devoid of its date disc and its associated notch at the level of the crown.
