If Poiray were a letter, it would of course be a P. That of the Parisiennes, the Precious Stones and the Prestige of the rue de la Paix, where the Maison settled in 1975 and came to shake up a world, that of the Place Vendôme, sometimes frozen in its convictions as well as in its traditions.
Poiray is first and foremost a certainty shared by its founders, François Hérail and Michel Ermelin: whether it is rings, bracelets, necklaces or earrings, precious jewellery must be both elegant and creative, can be worn on all occasions and can be adapted to suit your mood. Poiray made this new femininity her own, which set the early 1970s ablaze. At the time, it was daring. It will be an immediate success.
